Welcome to the BLOG!

Here you'll find updates on my current work, clients, ideas and musings. Hop over to the PORTFOLIO SITE for more information and work.

My goal as a photographer is to highlight your unique personal style while capturing images that evoke emotion. I have a fine art photojournalism style and aim to put you at ease while having fun at the same time. To me, life is a grand story unfolding and I get to tell my part of it through images.

I specialize in senior potraits, actor and buisness headshots, bridal, and engagement photos. I shoot weddings all over Oregon and California including Los Angeles, Orange County, San Fransisco, Portland, Salem, Eugene, Canon Beach, and Hood river, to name a few. I travel regularly for bookings up and down the west coast and am available for destination weddings.

I would love to meet with you and take part in
the telling of your story.

A Little Story For You…

So we’re on day two out of five on my hub’s pacific NW mini tour. We arrived at McMenamin’s Edgefield this afternoon and I have to say it might be one of my favorite places in the world. It’s like disneyland for beer and wine (or alcohol in general) lovers. Walking around the farm we toured about a ga-jillion super quaint and awesome bars and restaurants all featuring the spirits they create here. I also spent a good amount of time wandering the halls and reading all about the history of the place, it’s amazing, and a little eerie at times but in an awe-inspiring way. I can’t believe that in all my years of living in Oregon I have never stayed here! I was so excited when we walked into our room the the first thing I did was kick off my boots and jump on our gorgeous king size bed. I realize that I wont be this spoiled on future tours that I go on with him, but right now I’m pretty much in heaven.
If you’ve never been to Edgefield in Troutdale OR that I highly recommend putting it on your bucket list, especially in the summer when all the outdoor hotspots open back up and the summer concert series starts.

In honor of the rich history and crazy stories I’ve been reading about this place I thought I would share a story for you all, just for fun :)

Two strangers sit at a bus stop together

The young gentleman strikes up a conversation

They hit it off right away, like old friends

and then he bravely makes a move…

She couldn’t be happier and soon it’s like they’ve known each other for years, it must be love at first sight!

He leans in and kisses her, it seemed so natural…

and then, before he realized what had happened, his bus came. And he had to go…

THE END!

hope you liked it :) Thanks Kattie and Josh for being so freaking awesome… you guys rock :)
