Travis and Vanessa’s wedding was my last wedding of my busy summer season up in Oregon! Now I’m all settled back in Los Angeles… sunny winters full of Actor headshot photography and more portraiture (hopefully some on the beach coming up). This is my first fall/winter in Los Angeles (last year I moved here towards the end of the “winter”) and so far I’m loving the warm temperatures and cool breezes. I’m starting to really understand why photographers love it down here. In Southern California its always beautiful!!! The weather forecast for this weekend in Los Angeles says rain for 3 days.. I’ve learned that actually means “a light drizzle in the morning and then beautiful light diffusing clouds covering the entire sky for the rest of the day” so even the bad weather days are a photographers dream. Love it.

I’m so excited to share with you Vanessa and Travis’ ROCKIN wedding. I shot their engagement portraits in June and had been anticipating their crazy party since. They met as dancers in college so I knew I could expect a killer dance floor (by far my favorite part of a wedding). The event was held at the old Strega restraunt turned event space, The Vue Corvallis. And the amazing ladies at Celebration Florals did the flowers. I hope you all enjoy ☺
